Tätigkeitsbeschreibung: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Purchasing Manager (M/F/D, Buyer) for Primary Flight Controls to join our Equipment Systems A-F Team based in Toulouse, France. Your challenges : • Define, Negotiate and Manage Contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products. Ensuring compliance between contracts terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus. • Lead the commercial negotiations (including potential Calls for Tenders), throughout the full life cycle of the products, • Develop E2E business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost, revenues (Aftermarket) & EBIT contribution. • Take a leading role in the collaboration with suppliers worldwide developing professional and trusting relationships and upholding the Company ethics and compliance standards in all your dealings to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to our customers. • Be part of a multi-functional team, responsible for the alignment with Program, Supply Chain, Engineering and Customer Services etc. bringing the big picture in your perimeter. Additionally, as Buyer : • You will have the responsibility for contributing in shaping and defining Airbus future programs and technology, by supporting number of specific development projects for eAction, leading the commercial aspects and identifying & engaging existing and new supply chain partners (up to suppliers selection) • You will be the lead buyer for a key PEA supplier, reporting to the head of PEA (VP Procurement Avionics, Cockpit & Flight Controls Systems) Your boarding pass : • Strong Project management skills are essential (including stakeholder management). • You will need to be prepared to establish an extensive knowledge of Contracts and legal frameworks and to quickly develop experience in negotiations and supplier relationship management therefore a background in procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing external stakeholders is considered beneficial. • The role requires a high level of autonomy but also a team-player minded attitude. Good technical basics of aircraft systems would be an asset. You have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and a general business mind-set and are able to comfortably lead a commodity level Multi-Functional Team for specific development and change projects. • You have international communication skills, including persuasion & influencing skills and want to present complex topics to senior leadership (Negotiation level of English is essential.
