Job Description: We have a new vacancy for a Purchasing Administrator to be based at our site in Shipley, Bradford. Your mission in CMbE The Purchasing Administrator will provide essential administrative support to the procurement team. This role is key in ensuring all purchase orders are acknowledged and agreed delivery dates are met. The role also involves accurate processing of purchase orders, maintaining up-to-date supplier records, and facilitating a smooth communication and documentation flow. You will be impacting the performance of our purchasing operations by using strong communication skills and assertiveness, your ability to build and maintain professional relationships, your great organisational skills, and attention to detail. You can demonstrate excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and Microsoft Office applications is beneficial. Experience in maintaining accurate procurement documentation, managing supplier records, and supporting compliance processes is highly desirable. About you The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative or procurement support, ideally with experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Candidates should hold GCSEs or equivalent, with further education in Business Administration, Procurement, or Supply Chain desirable. We are looking for a proactive, organised individual who is customer-focused and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Limited UK travel may be required.
