About You: • You are energized by helping others celebrate important events • Providing excellent customer service brings you joy • You are knowledgeable about food and comfortable talking about preparation methods and ingredients • Attention to detail is your superpower • You seek out opportunities to 'leave it better than you found it' • You're not afraid to learn from your mistakes • You want to be a part of a growing company that values their employees Event Server Expectations: • Arrive to scheduled events on time and dressed in proper uniform • Assist in all aspects of set-up and break-down, including lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds • Serve our guests, with a dedication to taking care of the details to ensure that they have everything they need • Become familiar with the catering menu and answer customer questions concerning food being served • Maintain a courteous and well-mannered demeanor throughout the event • Adhere to a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance • Practice safe food handling procedures • Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Event Server Experience: • Customer service experience • Able to follow directions and work independently • Effective verbal communication skills • Previous banquet, catering, and/or restaurant wait staff experience preferred The Good Stuff! • $16/hr + gratuities • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Discounts at all Trolley House Hospitality companies including catering services and vending items in our warehouse • Free Employee Shift Meal • Crunch Gym Membership Discount • Part-time employees who work at least 1,000 hours a year are eligible for 401k matching after the first year
