Psychologist/School Psychologist   Details about this opportunity:   Location : Ulster County Status: Part-Time, Fee for service  Hours: Available during and/or after school hours  Compensation: $200/ evaluation.    **Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**    PART TIME BENEFITS:   We are excited to offer a range of valuable benefits for our employees who work 25 or more hours per week (Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, and Pet Insurance)* Employee Assistance Program  Referral Program Professional Development Assistance  Incentive Program     Responsibilities:   Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages Conduct autism diagnostic evaluations for children of various ages Utilize research-based assessment tools such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2); Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition; Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development-Fourth Edition; Conners Early Childhood Behavior Rating Scales; Behavior Assessment System for Children-3; Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales Write a comprehensive and clear diagnostic and psychological report Provide recommendations and assist therapeutic teams in designing interventions  Participate in treatment, feedback and team meetings Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees and families  Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards Provide group and individual counseling/parent training, as mandated by a student’s IEP Participate in IEP Conferences, annual reviews and other special meetings as needed     About You:   If you have these attributes:   Passionate to work with children, families and therapists Sterling values, high integrity, and high ethical standards  Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent time management/organizational skills Act with humility and grace Empathetic & considerate of others Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment     And this background:   Doctoral Degree in Psychology  NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist Master's Degree in School Psychology NYS Certified School Psychologist ADOS-2 trained highly preferred Experience working with or evaluating children on the autism spectrum Experience evaluating preschool age children Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families Bilingual is a plus   Then we are looking forward to receiving your resume!           ** Disclaimer: Please note the most current compensation information for all open positions at Family of Kidz can be found on our careers page at FamilyofKidz.com, which supersedes all other sources and job sites.   Why Join our Family?   Since 1998, Family of Kidz has brought together highly qualified teams of professionals who work diligently to help children with special needs, from birth to adulthood.
