Overview Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time PMHNP's in the Department of Psychiatry. Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000 Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000 Location: Cooperstown, NY Job Description & Responsibilities The Department of Psychiatry includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit expanding to 20 beds by the end of 2026, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Bassett Network and extensive Tele psychiatry services A diverse psychiatric team of physicians and PMHNP’s. Provide a full range of primary mental health services to our adult patient population with a focus on the promotion of optimal mental health, Provides psychiatric consultation, diagnostic and treatment services to the identified patient population, including medication management and crisis intervention services Maintain accurate documentation
