Position: Proving Ground Test Engineer Working Location: Hai Phong Contact to: Vietsol Recruitment ( [email protected] ) Job Descriptions: Operations Support • Support vehicle preparation, installation of test equipment, and execution of controlled dynamic driving test scenarios across all types of proving grounds. • Perform routine equipment inspections, including calibration verification, operational condition assessment, and basic maintenance to ensure test equipment and vehicles are always ready for operation. • Assist in collecting, reviewing, and conducting preliminary analysis of test data; provide structured feedback to the engineering team to support continuous improvement and product development. • Participate directly in testing activities on conventional proving grounds (durability, high-speed, vehicle dynamics, and braking) as well as ADAS-specific test tracks. • Maintain a thorough understanding of emergency response procedures and hazard awareness throughout testing activities. Safety and Compliance • Strictly comply with all safety and operational procedures within the proving ground. • Conduct pre-test and post-test equipment inspections to ensure operational integrity. • Maintain detailed records of testing activities, incidents, and corrective actions. Job Requirements • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or a relevant technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. • Experience in vehicle testing, proving ground maintenance, or similar roles is preferred. Candidates with experience at proving grounds or in R&D testing environments will have an advantage. • Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), including sensor technologies and autonomous driving features. • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics for test equipment and vehicles. • Familiarity with safety standards and operating procedures applicable to proving ground operations. • Good English communication skills (both spoken and written) are preferred.
