Book Your Stay • Provence Bartender/Server Provence Bartender/Server Join the team Provide courteous, professional preparation of beverages for guests and servers. Prepare high-quality beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to order upon request. Takes orders and serves guests at the restaurant bar according to company standards and all State legal guidelines. Compensation : $15.00 + Tips General Responsibilities: • Greet and serve guests at the bar • Pour drinks, using standard pour specifications • Handle cash and credit transactions • Clean and stock bar daily • Record accurate tip-out sheets daily • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors Non-Essential Functions: • Serve Food as requested • Assist with the cleaning of operational areas Requirements Desired Skills and Experiences: • 2-3 Years’ experience as a bartender in a restaurant environment • Must have a valid California Food Handlers card • Must have a thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service • Current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain) • Exceptional guest service skills • Basic computer skills (Aloha) • Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions so this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Ability to stand stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift • Must be manually dexterous and able to use hands, fingers, and arms for extended periods of time Work Remotely • No Experience: • Bartending: 2 years (Preferred) • Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Physical setting: • Bar • Casual dining restaurant • Fine dining restaurant Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday • Night shift • Weekend availability
