HELLENIC CABLES
is seeking a Project Technical Engineer to join Project Technical Department. As a Project Technical Engineer , you will be a highly trained engineer with a proven history of involvement in various technical projects (e.g. in construction/ manufacturing/ site supervision & commissioning).
Moreover, you will need to have great ability to cooperate with multi-disciplinary teams, a solid technical background, as well as the responsibility for maintaining Hellenic Cables standard of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for various ongoing projects:
• Work Method Statements
• New Technical Concepts
• Technical Queries
• Review of (sub-)contractor's technical documentation
Provide technical support to installation teams:
• Cooperate on various cable/ accessories mock ups
• Troubleshooting for issues occurring at projects during the implementation phase
Cooperate and contribute to various technical/ project issues with:
• Tendering, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Control & HSE Departments
Provide project specific studies for the project implementation phase:
• Identification of technical risks and propose mitigation measures
• In house developed technical solutions within deadlines
Qualifications:
• Master Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in industry (preferably offshore/ construction/ manufacturing/ site supervision & commissioning)
• Experience using CAD applications e.g. AutoCAD or SolidWorks will be considered an asset
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Candidate must have excellent attention to detail and Technical Writing skills in both English & Greek
• Highly energetic, motivated and self-starter
• Strong organization skills to prioritize workload
