Description
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) | Experience: 3+ Years | Reports To: Head of Product ABOUT CLARITYPAY At ClarityPay, we're redefining the point-of-sale credit market to bring more value to merchants. Based in NYC and Atlanta, our fast-growing fintech empowers large merchants with configurable “Pay-Over-Time” tools— including monthly installments, BNPL, and revolving products. We solve complex credit challenges with speed, precision, and intelligence—combining deep expertise with advanced tech to deliver better outcomes, every time. Our clients rely on us to help them serve their customers, grow, and build loyalty. Our values guide everything we do: we put merchants first, stay data-driven, always know the why, learn relentlessly, and win together as a team. This clarity of purpose fuels our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences at speed and scale. THE ROLE ClarityPay's product team is moving fast — shipping features across the lending lifecycle, coordinating with engineering squads, managing third-party integrations, and staying aligned with merchant partners. We need someone who makes all of that run more smoothly. As Project Manager, Product Team, you are the operational backbone of the product organization. You keep initiatives on track, make sure engineering and product are always aligned on priorities and timelines, and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks as our team and partner ecosystem grows. You're not managing a product yourself — but your ability to keep the people who do manage products organized, unblocked, and focused is what makes the whole machine work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure and communication, has enough fintech context to know why the work matters, and genuinely enjoys being the person who makes a fast-moving team more effective. You'll be a critical partner to our Head of Product and work closely with Engineering leads and external merchant and technology partners every day. WHAT YOU'LL DO Project & Initiative Management • Own the tracking and coordination of active product initiatives from kickoff through launch — maintaining timelines, flagging dependencies, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and blockers • Run sprint rituals and cross-functional syncs: coordinate sprint planning, standup agendas, retrospectives, and milestone reviews in partnership with Engineering leads • Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of what the product team is working on, what's coming next, and what's at risk — so the Head of Product and CEO are never flying blind • Track open action items, decisions, and follow-ups from product and engineering meetings, ensuring nothing gets dropped between meetings Engineering & Partner Communication • Act as a reliable bridge between product and engineering — translating priorities into clear asks, surfacing blockers early, and keeping both sides aligned without creating extra overhead • Coordinate with external merchant partners and technology vendors on integration timelines, documentation needs, and launch readiness — managing communication so product managers can stay focused on product decisions • Prepare and maintain project documentation: status updates, launch checklists, integration specs, and meeting recaps that give everyone a single source of truth Operational Scaling • Help design and improve the operational processes that support product development as the team grows — from how we run standups to how we manage a product launch • Identify process gaps before they become friction points, and propose lightweight solutions that keep the team moving without adding bureaucracy • Support the product team in maintaining internal tools and documentation (Jira, Confluence, Notion, or equivalent), ensuring they reflect current reality and are actually useful WHAT YOU'LL BRING • 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, pro
