Project Manager – Mechanical Construction (HVAC/Plumbing) Location: Garland, TX Schedule: Full-Time Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Position Overview We are seeking an organized and self-reliant Project Manager to join our team. This role is critical to the successful delivery of complex mechanical construction projects. The Project Manager will oversee planning, coordination, financial management, and execution of assigned projects, ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability.   This is a  documentation-heavy PM role — ideal for someone who thrives in accurately managing project financials, RFIs, billing, and change orders while keeping everything on track behind the scenes with a positive and open-minded attitude. Compensation: the salary pay range is $90k -$110k annually, based on experience and qualifications What You'll Own (Responsibilities)   Full lifecycle project management: handoff at pre-construction → closeout Manage project financials (budgets, SOVs, billings, forecasting, cash flow) with accuracy RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation tracking Vendor and subcontractor coordination (buyout, procurement, agreements) Schedule tracking and issue resolution Project compliance (specs, codes, safety, inspections) Communication across field, clients, and internal stakeholders Attend project, safety, and coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors, and field teams What You'll Bring (Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical contracting (HVAC, plumbing, piping, or related construction). Proven track record managing commercial or industrial construction projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, specifications, codes, and construction means/methods. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) and MS Office Suite. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
