Job Title: Project Manager (Contract) Location: Midtown NYC (Hybrid 3 days in office) Our client is a premier global investment banking advisory firm. They operate at the highest levels of the financial markets, driving critical business and technology initiatives that shape the industry. You will be joining an elite global technology organization focused on high-impact, enterprise-scale solutions. We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to serve as the primary liaison between front-office business stakeholders and technology teams. You will lead cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, translating business requirements into actionable plans while partnering closely with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure flawless execution. Requirements: • 5–7+ years of project management experience, ideally within financial services, investment banking, or capital markets. • Proven track record managing cross-functional business and technology initiatives. • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, specifically facing off with front-office and senior business leadership. • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, and traditional project delivery methodologies. • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-touch environment. • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and enterprise project management tooling. • Exposure to data, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence platforms is a strong plus. Responsibilities: • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and front-office partners. • Lead project planning, execution, status reporting, risk management, and governance. • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions across business and technical teams. • Drive project timelines, dependencies, action items, and deliverables to completion. • Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, presentations, and status updates. • Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and escalation paths. • Ensure tight alignment between business objectives and technology delivery. This is an immediate-need contract position operating on a hybrid schedule in New York.
