Description
For our Global Business Process Excellence Department we are looking for a Project Manager Budget to Report (B2R) (f/m/d). As Project Manager B2R, you will be responsible for the identification of gaps between existing processes and the global business processes defined by the Global Process Owner (GPO) as well as for launching and monitoring process improvement initiatives . In this role you will support to develop and evaluate the processes and identify inconsistencies – globally – to meet the Group’s strategic objectives and to get a best practice approach. The Project Manager Budget to Report (B2R) is responsible for leading transformation and optimization initiatives across the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The position focuses on operational excellence, financial transparency, and continuous improvement of B2R processes This position is located in Heidelberg and you will report to the B2R GPO. YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE • Take ownership of B2R processes and drive their continuous improvement • Promote standardization and simplification of processes across entities • Increase efficiency by reducing manual tasks and enhancing data consistency • Contribute to the implementation of best practices and governance frameworks • Safeguard the integrity and consistency of financial data across systems • Advance automation and digitalization in reporting processes • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and reporting standards • Design and maintain business policies to support efficient process execution • Identify business issues , analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions • Facilitate discussions with business stakeholders and deliver presentations to drive alignment on new features and functionalities • Collaborate with Digital teams to ensure alignment with existing systems and support budget planning • Partner with Group Departments to translate business needs into functional requirements for system and infrastructure implementations • Support integration projects across the organization • Enhance process performance to achieve high efficiency and KPI targets • Initiate and lead projects to identify best practices and roll them out to Shared Service Centers • Maintain strong risk control mechanisms within all B2R processes • Travel to business locations as required to support initiatives and stakeholder engagement • Work closely with Global Process Owners to drive alignment and improvements • Apply a process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement YOUR PROFILE • Education/Qualification • University degree • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, controlling, consolidation and/or shared services or Audit • Business Competence • Strong leadership skills • High IT affinity and skills required, especially SAP ERP, SAP BI, workflow systems, archiving, AI, RPA, etc. • Experience in multinational or matrix organizations is preferred • Substantial accounting experience ; IFRS knowledge • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English • Management Skills • Energetic “ hands on ” approach with good organization skills and the ability to prioritize • Concentration on results, control and process efficiency • Fast and consistent implementation of decisions OUR OFFER We are convinced that only those who successfully realize their personal goals can also fully contribute professionally.
