IBM iX – Designing Tomorrow The best digital experiences are built on strong project foundations. As a Project Management Officer (PMO) at IBM iX, you create the structure that enables complex digital projects to succeed. By bringing together governance, financial oversight and operational excellence, you help delivery teams stay focused, informed and in control throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Client Partners, Client Directors, Project Managers and interdisciplinary teams, you turn complexity into clarity. You ensure projects remain commercially sound, compliant and transparent while continuously improving the processes that drive successful delivery. Locations: Varaždin, Zagreb, Osijek | Work model: full-time (40h per week), hybrid (home-office 3x per week) Your tasks Act as the central point of contact for Data Security & Privacy, ensuring compliance standards and required measures are embedded across project delivery Deliver accurate reporting and project controlling that provides transparency into forecasts, financial performance and turnover Translate contractual requirements into day-to-day project operations, ensuring compliance and supporting commercially successful delivery Establish and oversee project tracking for hours and costs, enabling effective governance and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for improved staffing, greater efficiency and continuous process optimisation Partner with Client Directors, Client Partners and Project Managers to support offers, coordinate invoicing and ensure smooth operational execution across client engagements What you bring Ideally, already some experience of working in a structured project environment with confidence in project administration, governance and operational coordination Strong understanding of project contracts, budgeting, financial controlling and commercial project processes A structured, detail-oriented and solution-focused mindset, combined with strong analytical and organisational skills The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Experience with, or willingness to learn, project management and collaboration tools such as Projektron BCS, Confluence or similar platforms Fluent Croatian and English communication skills (C1+); German is an advantage How we work together Reliable.
