A fully remote, contract-based Project Coordinator position is currently open, focusing on large-scale cloud transformation, migration, and modernisation programmes. Promoted through Franklin Fitch, this initial 3-to-6-month contract operates inside IR35 and offers a competitive day rate. This role is ideal for an organised and proactive project professional looking to support enterprise-level Azure and AWS cloud initiatives across the UK.
The Opportunity
Working closely with Project Managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you will play a vital role in ensuring that complex technology projects are delivered in line with agreed governance, budgets, and timelines. You will be embedded within a high-performing team handling cloud infrastructure and modernisation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
•
Project Administration: Support the delivery of cloud migration projects through effective project coordination and documentation control.
•
Schedule & Plan Maintenance: Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies to ensure progress is tracked accurately.
•
Governance Support: Coordinate governance activities, including status reports, steering committee packs, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
•
Stakeholder Communication: Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and cross-team communications.
•
Financial Tracking: Support financial administration tasks, including purchase orders, budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
•
Service Transition: Assist with the successful handover of project deliverables into operational support and service teams.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this contract role, you should possess the following background and skills:

Professional Experience: Proven experience working in a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, or Project Support role within IT, technology, or professional services.
•
Lifecycle Knowledge: A strong understanding of project governance, reporting, and full project lifecycle processes.
•
Organisational Skills: Excellent multi-tasking abilities with a structured approach to managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
•
Technical Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps.
•
Communication: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
•
Previous exposure to Azure or AWS cloud transformation and infrastructure projects.
•
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
•
Relevant industry certifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation or AgilePM Foundation.
