We are poised to continue this growth over the next several years and are looking for a Project Accounting Administrator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. You will work closely with our Project Accountant to support various administrative tasks related to project accounting, documentation, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be organized, enthusiastic about learning, and capable of working effectively within a team. Responsibilities  PROJECT ACCOUNTING SUPPORT : Assist in setting up and maintaining project financial records, including data entry and document management. Support the Project Accountant in verifying and processing project budgets, change orders, and financial transactions. Prepare and maintain accurate financial documentation for projects, including invoices, purchase orders, and receipts. DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE : Order and track compliance documents such as insurance certificates, bonds, and lien waivers, ensuring they are up-to-date and in accordance with project requirements. Help manage and organize project files and records, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accessible. Assist with compliance-related tasks, including monitoring adherence to company policies and contractual requirements. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & COLLECTIONS: Assist with the preparation and submission of project billings according to contract requirements and deadlines. Help track and manage accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments and addressing billing discrepancies. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Project Accounting Team   Qualifications Construction Industry experience a plus Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Spectrum accounting/project management software, Crystal reports, and database management a plus Excellent written and verbal communication ability Strong organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills Team player with the desire to provide a high level of service Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work in fast paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changes to planned tasks or schedule     Safety Level  This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
