Nov 20, 2019 | 0 comments • Location : Durant, Oklahoma • Key Responsibilities: • Supervise production teams to ensure compliance with work instructions, product quality standards, safety regulations and productivity requirements • Coordinate and plan shift activities to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner through appropriate management of production resources • Transmit direct work instructions to production • Serve as shift safety leader • Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts • Assist in hiring of production employees • Train and coach new employees, review production teams performance and identify training needs • Develop production reports and follow KPIs • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement • Resolve conflicts at shop floor level • Foster and maintain a positive work environment • Qualifications: • Associates degree or higher level of education • 4+ year proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations • Leadership and team building skills to effectively supervise teams • Ability to make decisions fast, strong problem-solving skills • Written and verbal communication skills • Ability to operate manual and automated production equipment • Lift and move up to 50 lbs
