Pay Rate : $33 per hour Role Type : This is a remote contract position with flexible hours; the expected workload is about 10-15 hours per week but that will fluctuate depending on the season. News Revenue Hub seeks a self-starting Production Specialist with strong time management skills to join our team of remote digital news experts. The Hub advises newsrooms of all shapes and sizes on strategies to expand their audiences, develop products, and build sustainable membership programs. The Specialist will play a key role in turning strategies and experimental ideas into reality, and add capacity to our organizations during critical moments of need.  Working with the VP of Consulting and members of the Services team, the Specialist will provide hands-on support to Hub client newsrooms and organizations. You will help clients in various ways, including but not limited to: building fundraising emails and email automations, managing deadlines related to fundraising campaigns, creating campaigns and reports in Salesforce, and creating slide decks. Regular Duties Include: Production work tied to Hub services, primarily building standalone emails and automations in Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Active Campaign, and potentially other ESPs Reviewing email builds made by others to ensure things like segmentation are correct and will lead to intended and positive outcomes for our clients  Maintaining or creating documentation tied to your areas of work, both internally for your colleagues and externally for our clients to help them grow their own expertise Managing multiple projects or client needs at once, and being able to prioritize accordingly based on urgency and scope  Working with Services team members and colleagues across the company to respond to customer service requests related to email production in accordance with client contracts. Managing deadlines of short-term and long-term projects to keep client newsrooms’ fundraising campaigns on schedule Testing or troubleshooting ESP features like segmentation and template formatting during the production process Earning the trust of Hub clients and becoming a valued member of their team by delivering support in a timely and accurate manner, communicating clearly and effectively, and understanding their needs  Sharing challenges and learnings with colleagues and helping adapt services accordingly Occasionally, other types of production work tied to our clients needs and our services such as reports or slide deck creation.  Ideal Qualifications:  Demonstrated experience working in email marketing, newsletter or email production work, or other related area(s) that would transfer to this role Experience working with multiple email service providers (ESPs) is preferred, particularly Mailchimp, Active Campaign, and Beehiiv Experience with running and analyzing A/B tests for emails Knowledge of related elements of email marketing to aid with troubleshooting and client support, including deliverability, reputation, and email analytics Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems on the fly, and communicate with those around you.  The ability to self-motivate, self-manage, and work remotely.
