We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Production Operator at our manufacturing facility in Marlette, United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial presses, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.
• Set up, operate, and monitor industrial presses to produce high-quality parts and components
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
• Perform regular quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet specifications
• Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors promptly
• Maintain accurate records of production output and material usage
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a press operator preferred
• Proficiency in operating industrial presses and related equipment
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work second shift or third shift hours
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures
