Description
About Us We are building autonomous robotics systems for construction. Our robots plan, navigate, manipulate, and execute real work on live sites. This is deep tech: robotics, perception, controls, and AI operating outside the lab. As we scale the product and the team, writing is central to our communication, marketing, and vision . We’re looking for a Product & Technical Storyteller who can understand complex systems and convey them with clarity, across platforms and formats. Requirements What you’ll do Your core responsibility is writing, focused on content and marketing for digital and social channels. You will work closely with founders, engineers, and product teams to: Understand the product deeply — what it does, how it works, and why it’s unique Translate complex robotics and AI concepts into crisp, precise narratives Create and manage content across channels: Website copy (homepage, product pages, marketing materials) SEO-optimized content to improve discoverability and reach Engaging LinkedIn posts and concise, punchy tweets Founder POV pieces (why now, why this approach) Case studies and field stories from real deployments Hiring posts for robotics, AI, and systems engineers Maintain a consistent voice and point of view across all communication Challenge vague claims or unclear messaging to sharpen clarity This is a high-visibility, writing-first role , not a generic marketing execution position. What we’re looking for Must-haves Exceptional writing skills: clear, structured, and compelling Understanding of SEO, content algorithms, and digital visibility Experience creating engaging social media copy (LinkedIn, Twitter) Ability to explain complex technical products or systems accurately Comfort working directly with engineers and founders Strong editorial judgment — knows what to cut and what to highlight Strong signals Background in engineering, robotics, AI, or systems — or strong writing experience in these domains Prior experience at deep-tech, infra, robotics, or developer-focused companies Previous work as a technical writer, science/tech journalist, or early-stage product storyteller Writing samples that demonstrate originality, clarity, and insight Not a fit if you Focus mainly on generic SEO content without technical understanding Rely heavily on buzzwords or hype Need the product to be simplified extensively before writing Prefer execution-only roles without ownership of narrative How you’ll work On-site at HSR Layout, Bengaluru, collaborating closely with founders and engineering Full access to product demos, context, and internal discussions Expected to ask hard questions and improve clarity across the company Own the narrative, not just execute tasks Benefits What success looks like After 3–6 months: Our product and technology are easier to understand for all audiences Website, social media, and marketing content are sharp, confident, and technical yet accessible Engineers, candidates, and investors echo our language and vision Writing becomes a strategic asset and core part of how we communicate This is a high-impact, foundational role. If you care deeply about clarity, technical storytelling, and building technology that works in the real world, we’d love to talk.
