Description
PRODUCT STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS LEAD Location: Remote (US) Team: Product Strategy and Operations Reports to: SVP, Product Level / title: IC/Lead ABOUT QUALIFIED HEALTH Qualified Health is a clinical AI company. We turn the noise inside health system data into signal that clinical and financial leaders can act on, in ways the incumbent systems of record can't. Our product is not a feature set. Our product is the outcome: value realized inside a small number of large health systems we partner with deeply. We are moving fast, building something that doesn't fit the traditional SaaS mold. It is intense and it is genuinely fun. The work is real and the stakes are real, because what we ship has to earn the trust of clinicians and the confidence of CFOs. At Qualified Health, we’re redefining what’s possible with Generative AI in healthcare. Our infrastructure provides the guardrails for safe AI governance, healthcare-specific agent creation, and real-time algorithm monitoring—working alongside leading health systems to drive real change. This is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to build the future of AI in healthcare, solve complex challenges, and make a lasting impact on patient care. If you’re ambitious, innovative, and ready to move fast, we’d love to have you on board. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare. THE ROLE Product operations here is a function of one today. You would be the second person in it, and the first hire into it. The simplest way to describe the job: you are the product manager for the product and R&D organization. Your customers are the people who build, the product team, engineering, data, design, and the AI Transformation team. Your job is to understand their friction, then put the systems, cadences, tooling, and ways of working in place that let each of them operate at the top of their license. It is also a strategy role, not only an operations one. You will help shape where our product portfolio is going, not just how it runs: how products scale, and what reusable core lives inside the things we build for individual clients. At heart this is a connector role. You sit above the individual teams and products and find the through-lines, the shared building blocks, and the leverage that no single team sees from inside its own work. You will not do this by showing up with process and telling people to follow it. You will do it by understanding what is actually holding the org back, then designing the lightest change that solves it and bringing people along on why it matters. This is a hands-on, build-it-yourself role, not a manage-a-team role. You will be in the tools, in the repos, and in the rooms. It is also a role with room to grow: the surface is wide on purpose, spanning product strategy and portfolio, the product operating model, delivery coordination across teams, the systems that keep us reliable as we scale, and making the whole company AI-native. WHAT YOU WILL OWN You’ll own how our product organization scales — shaping a multi-product portfolio, building the operating cadences that turn strategy into shipped work, and acting as the connective tissue across delivery teams so problems surface before they become fire drills. - Shape the product portfolio: find the reusable building blocks across clients instead of one-off builds for each customer. - Own core operating cadences: sprint planning, OKRs, and the idea-to-ship process from PRD through shipped learnings. - Run cross-team delivery coordination (scrum-of-scrums), keeping one honest view of the portfolio for leadership. - Build the systems that replace status-chasing with live visibility (Jira/Notion dashboards). - Own the delivery and reliability operating system: capacity gates, release sign-off, and partnering with engineering on system health. - Drive AI-native operations and co-own company-wide adoption of our internal AI workflow marketplace. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
