Description
We are looking for a Product Manager, Sustainability Content & Methodology Governance to own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for Novisto’s ESG framework, questionnaire, and carbon methodology capabilities. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of product management, sustainability domain expertise, data governance, regulatory change, carbon accounting, and enterprise SaaS delivery. You will help ensure Novisto’s platform stays aligned with evolving ESG frameworks, CDP questionnaires, S&P questionnaires, carbon protocols, emissions factors, and calculation logic while translating complex methodology changes into scalable product capabilities. This role is ideal for a structured, customer-oriented product manager who can bring discipline to a fast-changing sustainability domain and create a repeatable operating model for monitoring, assessing, prioritizing, implementing, validating, and communicating content and methodology changes. Why This Role Matters Customers need confidence that their ESG and carbon data is accurate, current, traceable, and ready for reporting and assurance. Frameworks, questionnaires, protocols, emissions factors, and calculation methodologies are changing continuously and must be managed through a disciplined product lifecycle. Novisto’s differentiation depends on combining deep sustainability expertise with scalable software, strong governance, and a clear customer experience. This role will help Novisto move from content maintenance to a repeatable, productized methodology governance model that supports enterprise adoption and customer trust. Your responsibilities will include : Own the product roadmap for frameworks, questionnaires, and methodologies Define and maintain the roadmap for ESG frameworks, CDP questionnaires, S&P questionnaires, carbon protocols, emissions factors, and calculation logic. Translate evolving standards and questionnaire changes into product requirements, data model needs, workflow changes, reporting outputs, QA requirements, and release plans. Prioritize work based on customer impact, regulatory deadlines, business value, risk, implementation complexity, and strategic fit. Build a scalable monitoring and governance process Establish a recurring monitoring process for supported frameworks, questionnaires, protocols, and carbon methodologies. Work with ESG experts, carbon experts, data analysts, external advisors, and customer-facing teams to identify changes and assess product implications. Create clear governance for content updates, methodology changes, emissions factor updates, calculation logic, templates, mappings, standard phrases, and release documentation. Lead structured impact assessments Assess whether each change impacts existing implementation, data structures, calculations, downstream reporting, customer workflows, assurance readiness, or exports. Separate routine updates from non-routine changes that require deeper analysis, working groups, customer SME input, or new product capabilities. Produce clear implementation scope, product requirements, acceptance criteria, QA approach, and release readiness plans. Partner cross-functionally to deliver high-quality product outcomes Collaborate with Product, ESG experts, Carbon experts, Engineering, QA, Design, Customer Success, Implementation, Product Marketing, and Sales Enablement. Ensure domain interpretation is translated into clear, buildable, testable product requirements. Support release readiness, internal enablement, customer-facing documentation, and customer communications for major changes. Improve carbon calculation transparency and trust Own product requirements for carbon calculation traceability, methodology documentation, emissions factor versioning, data quality checks, variance detection, and audit-ready evidence. Help ens
