Role Overview We are looking for a Product Manager – Risk & Compliance Platform to own and scale products that power KYC, KYB, AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, risk decisioning, and compliance workflows across markets. This is a high-ownership role . At Tazapay, PMs are expected to build , not just spec — including creating MVPs, prototypes, and workflow automations before engineering scales them further. What You’ll Work On • Build and scale the Risk & Compliance Platform used across geographies and products • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — problem discovery, roadmap, MVPs, execution, and iteration • Translate complex regulatory and risk requirements into simple, scalable, AI-enabled product solutions • Design and optimize workflows for: • KYC / KYB • AML & transaction monitoring • Sanctions & watchlist screening • Risk rules, alerts, and decisioning • Leverage AI/ML capabilities to improve accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency • Build early MVPs using workflow automation tools, no-code/low-code tools, or internal frameworks before engineering hardens them • Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Ops, Data, and Engineering teams • Define success metrics and continuously improve risk coverage, false positives, turnaround times, and system reliability • Partner with external vendors and compliance technology providers when needed What We’re Looking For • 3–4 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services • Prior experience with Risk, Compliance, Fraud, AML, KYC, or Regulatory products is strongly preferred • Exposure to AI-powered products (ML models, decisioning systems, automation, intelligent workflows) is a big plus • Working knowledge of workflow automation tools / internal tooling / no-code or low-code platforms is highly desirable • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex regulatory and technical problems • Comfortable operating in 0→1 and scale-up environments • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Education Candidates with exceptional academic background and strong problem-solving skills from top engineering or management institutes preferred How We Work at Tazapay • Builders-first culture — PMs are expected to build MVPs, not just write PRDs • High ownership, low bureaucracy • Strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Business • Work From Office – 4 days a week (mandatory) at our Bangalore office Why Join Tazapay • Build mission-critical fintech & compliance infrastructure used globally • Work on AI-first risk and compliance products at scale • Exposure to global regulations, payments, and complex systems • Fast growth, steep learning curve, and real ownership in a Series B startup
