Role overview CarGurus is looking for a Product Manage r to join our Consumer Decision Product team. The Decision team owns a critical experience on the CarGurus marketplace—helping shoppers decide which car to buy and enabling them to confidently connect with dealers. As the Product Manager for Consumer Decision, you’ll own the roadmap for the targeted Vehicle Detail Page (VDP), our unique landing experience built for high-intent consumer traffic. You will shape how millions of users first experience CarGurus, leveraging personalization to guide consumers and ensure they find the perfect vehicle. By partnering with engineering, design, analytics and marketing teams, you’ll build new features and evolve existing experiences to  improve decision confidence, and unlock future growth. This role is ideal for a growth-minded product manager who thrives at the intersection of product, marketing, and experimentation, and who enjoys owning highly visible, high-impact surfaces with clear success metrics. What you'll do Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core decision and conversion experiences, including high-intent listing and landing surfaces Partner with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Marketing to launch features that balance shopper trust, brand integrity, and business outcomes Lead experimentation and iteration across, using A/B and multivariate testing, behavioral data, and funnel analysis to drive measurable gains in lead volume and quality Elevate the consumer journey from acquisition to lead submission while driving value for the user Pioneer GenAI experiences to enhance vehicle understanding, comparison, and shopper-dealer connections Act as a strong advocate for the shopper, translating user needs, research, and data insights into clear product requirements and compelling narratives Clearly define success metrics, track performance, and communicate results and learnings to stakeholders and leadership What you'll bring 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in consumer-facing, marketplace, e-commerce, or growth-oriented environments Analytical rigor: comfort defining metrics, digging into data, and using insights to inform prioritization and tradeoff decisions A strong user mindset paired with business acumen—you care deeply about shopper trust and measurable impact Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience aligning diverse stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Analytics and Marketing teams, around a shared roadmap and outcomes Demonstrated success in growth or optimization-focused PM roles, using experimentation and funnel analysis to improve core conversion experiences and KPIs Familiarity with marketing technology, performance marketing concepts, or acquisition funnels
