Role: Product Manager, China Reports into : VP Operations, Emerging Markets Location: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Shenzhen Department: Product   THE OPPORTUNITY MiQ is looking for a Product Manager to focus on localising and developing products & solutions for China. The Product Manager will support in scaling MiQ’s product offering by researching, scoping and developing scalable solutions for MiQ teams and clients alike. This role requires a good mix of internal team collaboration as well as stakeholder management. You will be required to stay up-to-date with relevant industry offerings, be comfortable working with technology teams, and recommend key features and approaches that the team should adopt to build a strong product offering. You will also need to coordinate with commercial and trading teams to understand local market needs and factor those into product specifications. Courage – We dare to think unconventionally.   WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING The Product & Solutions Manager is tasked with building new and localising & enhancing existing MiQ products & solutions for the China Outbound and MENA markets.    DELIVERING PRODUCT PORTFOLIO Ensure all Products under your Portfolio are delivering against product objectives and market OKRs – as per set timelines Update timelines for Product & Solutions roadmap internally and externally periodically – based on pace set by VP Operations, Emerging Markets Ideate and contribute to product localisation for the China Outbound market – including training, localisation of collateral (in collaboration with Marketing) Cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, sales, trading, account management and CoE teams Relentlessly pursues adoption of best practices in product management across different work streams, continuously evaluates how teams are operating and ensures consistency & timely project delivery Creation and regular updates on product best practices for Commercial and Operations teams at MiQ Regular assessment of product & solutions “stability” and quality – including collecting internal and external feedback and improvement recommendations   PRODUCT & BUSINESS STRATEGY Analyse product utilisation data and make recommendations related to regional product strategies and processes Initiate and drive continuous improvements across products & solutions, including process improvement  Based on new / evolving industry trends, identify opportunities for new product development or enhancement of existing products & solutions Where relevant lead on product training, monitor adoption and lead on continuous market feedback collection for implementation into future product development & enhancement Where appropriate, support with key client pitches based on local market needs & priorities    PARTNERSHIP SCOPING Identify/scope new partnership opportunities with relevant data and supply vendors for China Outbound – in alignment with Central Product and VP Operations for Emerging Markets Where relevant, manage data partnerships with a view to const
