You may help shape Bizfile, ACRA’s primary digital touchpoint for businesses, or bring new AI-enabled products from bold ideas to solutions that modernise regulatory services, simplify complex processes and deliver meaningful impact. You will reimagine how businesses interact with government, uncover problems worth solving, make product bets based on evidence, and rally designers, engineers, business owners and operations teams around a clear direction. You will own a product or problem area from discovery and experimentation through delivery, adoption and continuous improvement. Along the way, you will navigate complex regulatory challenges, make difficult trade-offs and shape digital products that businesses can trust. This role is for someone ready to step up, take meaningful ownership and build products with national reach and tangible public impact.   Product discovery and problem definition Own product or problem area and develop a clear understanding of its users, operational context and organisational objectives. Conduct or support user research, data analysis, stakeholder interviews and service reviews to identify user needs and underlying problems. Define clear problem statements and explain why the problem matters to users, ACRA and the wider business ecosystem. Distinguish underlying problems from symptoms and validate assumptions before committing to solutions.   Product strategy and prioritisation Work with product leads, business owners and stakeholders to translate organisational priorities into a clear product vision, roadmap and measurable outcomes for the assigned product area. Develop logical product approaches that address the defined problem and consider viable alternatives. Prioritise improvements based on user value, organisational impact, effort, risk and available evidence. Define and maintain the product backlog, ensuring priorities and intended outcomes are clearly understood by the team. Identify trade-offs and document the rationale for key product decisions.   Experimentation and product delivery Define minimum viable product approaches and experiments to test key product assumptions. Work closely with designers, engineers and operational teams throughout discovery, delivery, launch and iteration.
