Arcesium supports more than 675 billion in assets with a staff of over 1650 software engineering, accounting, operations, and treasury professionals.We are looking for an exceptionally talented resource to join one of our cross-functional product teams in our Hyderabad/Bangalore/Gurgaon office for an Individual contributor role. This product team is responsible for building the core accounting product offering of our platform. This position offers opportunity to define and design the next generation of products on our platform, which is used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world; and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.What youll do:Carry the product/feature from concept to creationBrainstorm product/feature and its value proposition to our client baseDistill the vision into documents such as product roadmap and product/feature specification via deep dives into domain, gathering requirements and/or business analysisWork closely with the engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification to design, and then to the product itselfPrepare comprehensive business test cases/beds to aid the engineering processRigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight by leveraging the created test cases/beds and ensure compliance to the product/feature specification and the visionPrepare prototypes using Python and AITrack and question risks/assumptionsProactively escalate issues and mitigate execution risksBe involved in conducting competitor analysisWhat youll need:4 years of experience working in the front, middle and/or back-office space with a minimum of 2 years of experience in product managementTechnical skills neededUnderstanding of Java: Familiarity with Java concepts to effectively communicate and collaborate with the development team.Knowledge of Distributed Systems: Understanding of distributed systems concepts to grasp project requirements and challenges.Database Awareness: General knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases to contribute effectively to data-related discussions.Experience working closely with engineers.Outstanding academic background & passion to work in a high-tech software development environment.Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsCritical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholdersAbility to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and qualityA healthy combination of resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity and execution prowessCandidate should have a graduate degree in software engineeringAdvanced knowledge in field of Trade Accounting and operations or Certifications in financial domain such as MBA, CFA will be an added advantage.Handson experience on using and integrating various AI tools for building out products will be an added advantage.Arcesium and its affiliates do not discriminate in employment matters on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or any other category protected by law.
