Ein bedeutendes Segment dabei ist die Entwicklung und Produktion hochwertiger Awning-Systeme (z. B. Vorzelte, Markisen, Sonnenschutzlösungen), die durch Funktionalität, Qualität und modernes Design überzeugen. Zur Verstärkung unseres technischen Teams suchen wir einen engagierten Product Designer (Area Awning) (m/w/d) für die Entwicklung neuer Awning-Produkte sowie die Optimierung bestehender Lösungen. Ihre Aufgaben / Job Responsibilities Market Research & Needs Analysis: Conduct systematic market research before product design initiation, collect and analyze user needs, pain points, and behavioral preferences, and produce quantifiable design requirement documents. Product Concept & Design: Based on user needs and brand positioning, develop product design proposals (including function definition, exterior design, interaction logic, and user experience), outputting design sketches, 3D models, and prototypes. Product Development Coordination: After design approval, coordinate with the product team (including R&D, engineering, procurement, etc.) to advance implementation, control development progress, and ensure on-schedule product completion and launch. Testing & Sales Support: Assist developers with product debugging and function verification to ensure performance standards are met; provide systematic product training to the sales team and supply sales toolkits (product manuals, demo materials, etc.). Competitive Analysis & Continuous Optimization: Track post-launch market performance, regularly research competitor features, user experience, and operation flows, and propose product iteration and optimization plans based on feedback. Cost & Quality Control: Balance cost control and quality assurance throughout the design process, achieving optimal design solutions within budget through material selection and process optimization. Ihr Profil / Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or related field. At least 3 years of full-time product design experience, familiar with full-cycle design methodology from concept to mass production. Proficient in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, SolidWorks, etc.), with prototyping and 3D modeling capabilities. Solid user research and needs analysis skills, able to translate qualitative/quantitative data into design solutions. Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, able to collaborate efficiently with R&D, engineering, sales, and other departments. Innovative thinking, able to propose differentiated design solutions within given constraints. Business-level fluency in both German and English (C1 or above), able to independently draft design documents and conduct cross-departmental communication. Preferred qualifications: A. Design experience in consumer goods, tools, or industrial products. B. Successful track record of complete product launch projects. C. Familiar with DIN standards and EU product compliance requirements (e.g., CE, REACH, RoHS). D. Cost awareness and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) experience. E. Design awards (e.g., iF, Red Dot) recipients.
