Description
Senior/Mid-level Product Designer Design for the people in the tiny chairs At Famly, we build software that takes admin off the plates of early-years educators, so they can spend their time where it matters - with the children. And we make it easier for over a million parents to stay close to their child's day, even while they're at work. We're looking for a mid-to-senior product designer to join AIM - the crew responsible for how families and educators connect. That means parent communication, a child's development journey, and the everyday moments that keep parents feeling informed and prepared. Right now we're especially focused on deepening parent engagement across our most-used communication features, and we want a designer to lead that craft. About Famly We’re on a mission to stop admin stealing the joy of working with young children. We do that with our platform, the world’s first proactive assistant for educators and staff that handles admin for them so they can get back to what they love. And we do it with our content (like The Tiny Chair Podcast ), reminding educators of the joy and meaning that got them into working with children in the first place. About the role As a product designer, you’ll work inside our autonomous product teams to craft experiences that make practitioners' lives easier. We're a creative, collaborative group, guided by a highly user-centered design focus. We love to combine research, data, and thoughtful critique. We are curious about discovering needs and solving fundamental problems that impact work in early child development. The role is based out of our Copenhagen office. What you'll be doing: Understand the opportunity; Be hungry for new and deeper insights about customers to clearly understand their needs and problems, and leverage data, research and insights to inform decisions on how the product is designed. Strategically execute ; Understand the user journeys, ideating in discovery and deliver final designs with a strong UX foundation. Make progress efficiently ; Gather requirements from stakeholders, consider trade-offs, and present design direction, principles and rationale clearly. Take ownership; Care deeply about the customer experience, seeking out and valuing feedback—being good at facilitating how and when you receive it. Create impact; You are effortless working with design patterns and systems that are durable, repeatable and sets the standard for the product experience and dare challenge your team's understanding of the problem. Experiment at the frontier; We expect everyone - designers included - to explore how AI tools like Cursor and Claude change the way we discover, prototype, and ship. You'll be given the time, budget and encouragement to try things, and to bring what you learn back to the crew. You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have 3+ years of product design experience building B2B SaaS products with a portfolio showcasing your design thinking and impact. Own your work from start to finish from initial discovery to testing/validating and shipping impactful features efficiently. Possess strong interaction and visual design principles and skills that scale across user flows, platforms and devices. Craft insights-driven user journeys, lo- and hi-fi explorations and prototypes, and handover ready for development, based on design systems. Are deeply motivated to understand and empathise with customer challenges and motivated to solve real-world problems with impact.. Are holistic thinker that enjoys working on challenging problems and spot details to find simple solutions within the design system. Have ability to deliver clear and well-founded proposals based on complex requirements. Have strong collaboration skills and experience in working well with other team members - both product and engineering Have gr
