MWM develops, builds, markets and services integrated power solutions, such as containerized gas gensets for Combined Heat & Power applications. The Procurement Specialist (MWM power solutions) is an on‑site role based in China, supporting integrated MWM power solutions projects. The position is responsible for end‑to‑end procurement activities during both the proposal and the execution phases. Read more about the company: https://www.mwm.net/en/ What will be your task at this position? • Manage international supplier base • Manage end‑to‑end procurement for integrated MWM power solutions projects throughout the proposal and the execution phase • Translate project requirements into back‑to‑back contract flow • Manage the expediting plan, coordinate inspections and test executions, control vendor documentation, and manage the equipment and services delivery timeliness until customer hand‑over • Manage the procurement risks, including timeliness, quality and claims • Manage procurement for MWM Solutions Center and support procurement of global service organization What do we expect from a suitable candidate? • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management / Logistics, Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers • Experience in project procurement and enthusiasm for working in international, cross‑functional projects • High level of self‑motivation and organisation • Willingness to travel internationally • Fluency in English This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
