LN20703 | Procurement Officer | Full time | 12 month FTC | North Yorkshire | Hybrid | £28000 - £35000 Client: Castlefield are working with an organisation as they look to recruit a personable Senior Procurement Officer to join their well-established Procurement team. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent procurement knowledge to join a service that adds value. If you’re someone who values collaboration, works well as part of a team, and is eager to contribute to a professional organisation, this role could be a great match. This role requires a hybrid style of 2 days onsite and is a Fixed term contract. Duties will include: • Provide procurement support for strategic initiatives • Act as a part of a team of procurement professionals to ensure a compelling service offering which adds real value to the delivery of the organisation • Responsible for the operational planning and prioritisation within an aligned category area • Manage commercial and contract management strategies of spend • Develop and deliver procurement savings plans • Negotiate and influence stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver compliant contracts The successful candidate will: • Public or Private Sector experience is required • Purchasing experience • Experience of managing and delivering procurement related processes and activities • A strong knowledge in procurement, with a proactive mindset, willing to come in and hit the ground running To apply for the position please use the link provided or contact Libby Nightingale via LinkedIn Thank you!
