Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
• Receive and review purchase requisitions from user departments.
• Source quotations from approved suppliers in accordance with procurement policies.
• Prepare quotation analysis and supplier comparison reports.
• Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) upon approval.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with requesting departments on procurement requirements and delivery schedules.
Supplier Management
• Maintain and update supplier database and records.
• Support supplier onboarding and due diligence processes.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.
• Assist in resolving supplier-related issues and discrepancies.
Inventory and Logistics Support
• Coordinate with stores and user departments to ensure proper receipt of goods.
• Follow up on pending deliveries and back orders.
• Support shipment tracking and logistics coordination where applicable.
• Verify delivery documentation and ensure completeness of records.
Compliance and Documentation
• Maintain accurate procurement records and filing systems.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Support procurement audits by providing required documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis as required.
Cost Control and Reporting
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Support market research and supplier benchmarking activities.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics.
Skills & Competencies
• Understanding of procurement principles and processes.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
