We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team at our Lerwick Processing Facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has an interest in aquaculture.
Initially offered as a temporary role over the summer months, there is potential for the position to become permanent.
We offer a friendly and supportive workplace, full training, and opportunities for development. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and we’re happy to discuss flexible working patterns to suit the successful candidate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Processing Operative, you’ll play an important role in preparing our products for dispatch while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Operating processing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Cleaning and preparing fish in line with company procedures and quality standards.
• Grading products to meet customer specifications.
• Packing finished products accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
• Maintaining high standards of product quality throughout the production process.
• Following all hygiene, food safety, health and safety, and environmental procedures.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals who:
• Have a keen eye for detail.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Can be flexible with working hours to meet business needs.
Previous experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided.
This role is not eligible for skilled visa sponsorship, therefore we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK.
