This Process Operative position based in Widnes offers a permanent, full-time role with a salary of £28,000 per annum. Working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, you will join a small team at a manufacturer of high-purity specialist water for industrial and scientific uses. Responsibilities include operating process equipment, handling valves and pumps, and monitoring production volumes and quality. You will also file drums, operate a FLT Counterbalance, perform basic valve repairs, and assist with general operational support across the site. This varied role requires practical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Job Title: Process Operative Location: Widnes (WA8 0ZA) Salary: £28,000 per annum Hours: Monday- Friday 08:30- 17:00 Contract: Permanent Our client a manufacturing company who manufactures and supplies high-purity specialist water for industrial and scientific applications, is looking for 2 Process Operatives to join their team. Working a varied role within a small team, you will be responsible for operating process equipment, FLT and assisting with other different tasks as and when required. As a Process Operative your duties will be: - Operating process equipment. Working with valves and pumps. Monitoring quality and production volumes. Filing drums. Operating FLT Counterbalance. Basic valve repairs and leak rectification. General operational support across the site. The successful Process Operative will have the following skills: - Must have a background in production, process manufacturing, or similar industrial environments. FLT Counterbalance licence must be in date and accredited (RTITB or ITSSAR). Confident, hands-on approach. Willingness to learn new skills and be upskilled. Happy assisting other departments and conducting different tasks as and when required. Comfortable working within a small team environment. Ability to handle some heavy lifting. Additional Information Permanent contract. 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. 1 additional holiday for your birthday. Quarterly bonus Approx. £1,200. Overtime available, paid at time and a half. Company pension scheme.
