Description
Delivering high-quality lithography processes in a 300mm fabrication environment for both customer projects and imec’s internal research programs, with a primary focus on immersion, EUV, and KrF lithography technologies, while ensuring manufacturability requirements are met.
What you will do
As a Lithography Process Development Assistant, you will be a member of the Process Efficiency Team, part of the Advanced Patterning Department. This department is responsible for material screening and the development of advanced lithography processes. These activities support process integration teams involved in imec's CORE programs, Joint Development Projects, internal advanced patterning initiatives, and technology transfer projects, with a strong focus on cycle time and operational excellence.
As a Lithography Process Development Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Analyzing and discussing lithography process development requests.
Creating and maintaining process flows to enable lithography experiments on complex process stacks and supporting colleagues in process flow development.
Delivering high-quality lithography processes for both imec internal programs and external customers.
Defining and executing process, equipment, and material development projects in collaboration with equipment and material suppliers within cross-functional and cross-company teams.
Documenting, qualifying, and transferring lithography processes to imec’s pilot production line.
Working closely with Basic Process Step Owner (BSVs) and colleagues in a rotating five-shift system to maintain cycle time performance and ensure efficient workflow execution.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, process robustness, and customer satisfaction.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in semiconductor manufacturing, engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing; knowledge of lithography processes is a strong asset.
Knowledge of CD-SEM and overlay metrology techniques is highly valued.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, combined with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Able to work independently while taking initiative and ownership of assigned tasks.
A proactive and enthusiastic team player who can influence, engage, and motivate others.
Self-motivated, innovative, and results-oriented.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Willing to work in a rotating shift system (early, late, and night shifts), including one weekend out of four.
