YOU MUST PASS BACKGROUND, YOU MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, MUST LOVE WORKING WITH KIDS and LOVE TO SERVE OTHERS Responsibilities: Perform routine daytime cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Monitor and restock restroom supplies, paper products, and soap dispensers throughout the day Respond promptly to spills, messes, and cleaning requests from school staff Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in all assigned areas Maintain clean and presentable entryways, lobbies, and high-traffic zones Assist with light furniture moving, event setup, and teardown as needed Follow all school safety protocols and maintain a professional presence on campus Requirements: Previous experience in janitorial, porter, or custodial services preferred Ability to work effectively in a school or institutional environment Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated work ethic Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift Excellent communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor Must be able to pass a background check required for school campus access Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are a must About Us: Veritas Environmental Services LLC is a trusted commercial cleaning and facility services company serving clients across the Winston Salem, NC area.
