Description
• Select Alternative Investments is a Direct Investments Platform focused on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital. We target private investment opportunities alongside our investors and provide access to our proprietary deal sourcing
• All investments are structured in-house by our team of investment professionals located in Singapore, Zurich, Vienna, and Ho Chi Minh City
• In order to support our rapidly growing business, we are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated colleague to work directly within our global investment team
Tasks
• Supporting the investment team in processes throughout the deal cycle
• Screening and evaluation of new investment opportunities in Asia, Europe, and US markets, participating in meetings and preparing call memos
• Analysing investment memoranda and economics of RE, PE, and VC deals
• Assisting with financial modelling and preparation of market research to support deal due diligence
• Provide analytical, forecasting, and reporting support to portfolio managers
• Preparation of investment committee presentations, Q&As, and other deal materials
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, recently completed or currently enrolled in a Master’s programme from a leading university, preferably in business, finance or related subject
• Previous internship in a relevant field such as investment banking, M&A, or consulting is a plus
• Extremely attentive to detail, intellectually curious, proactive, and goal-oriented
• Fluent in English with high levels of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, fluency in German is a plus
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in both on-the-ground and virtual teams (with other Select offices)
• Strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of Msft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent research skills, able to find a needle in a haystack
• Strong sense of self-motivation and ownership, ability to work independently and with low supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Eligibility to work in the EU
• Able to commit 6 months
