Description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen at a nationally recognised advisory firm with an international footprint. Known for its collaborative culture and people-first approach, this firm is seeking a talented Private Client Tax Specialist to join its Kent-based team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, sole traders, and trusts. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working and a clear progression path.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of private clients, leading on both compliance and advisory work
• Provide tax advice to individuals, family businesses, and the professional services sector
• Lead on personal tax compliance, including review of returns, computations, and HMRC interactions
• Oversee more junior team members, reviewing technical output and offering on-the-job coaching
• Develop strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser
• Contribute to business development activity and identify opportunities for cross-service collaboration
• Take responsibility for billing and managing profitability on your portfolio
What We're Looking For:
• ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Solid experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work, ideally with some exposure to trusts
• A strong understanding of professional practices and privately owned businesses
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal stakeholders
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with a genuine interest in helping clients navigate complex tax issues
• Leadership potential and the drive to develop and support junior team members
