Description
CIQ builds enterprise infrastructure for demanding workloads across operating systems, AI, HPC, and cloud-native orchestration. As a Principal Software Engineer - GoLang, you will design, develop, and support enterprise solutions, leading architecture-level discussions and contributing to products including Rocky Linux, RLC Pro, Fuzzball, Warewulf Pro, and Ascender Pro.
What You'll Do
• Lead and participate in architecture-level discussions, planning, and implementation of enterprise solutions
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot applications while maintaining system capacity and performance
• Research industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure optimal engineering solutions
• Drive proof of concepts and minimal viable products for demonstration to stakeholders
• Support multiple services through system design consulting, software platform development, capacity planning, and launch reviews
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales teams, and open-source communities to deliver optimal solutions and share knowledge
What You Need
• At least 10 years of experience writing software in Go, Python, Scala, or similar languages
• Demonstrated mastery of Linux and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Extensive experience with GoLang, Pulumi, and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to derive solutions from high-level or incomplete requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote environments
Nice to Have
• High-performance or scientific computing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
