About This Opportunity
This isn't just another planning role. You'll join a 250-year-old industry leader—a brand-name manufacturer that's been defining quality and innovation for centuries. With 3,000+ employees across 16 U.S. locations and four global facilities, this is a company that's both deeply established and actively growing. You'll have executive visibility, work in a high-growth plant, and enjoy a clear path to leadership. Plus, you'll be part of a certified Great Place to Work that proudly supports our military and law enforcement.
---
How You Will Have Impact
You'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution. As Principal Planner, you'll partner cross-functionally—especially with Operations—to own and align every facet of Supply Chain. From master scheduling and inventory planning to releasing and prioritizing work orders, you'll keep the entire production engine running smoothly. You'll also maintain, coordinate, and strategize around contractual commitments and deadlines, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Your core responsibilities include:
• Owning critical supply chain deadlines and aligning them with customer expectations and contractual commitments
• Driving MRP (Material Requirements Planning) accuracy to support seamless production and inventory flow, while staying fully compliant with internal policies and customer requirements
• Partnering with Operations and Production to resolve issues, remove constraints, and keep manufacturing on track
• Monitoring schedules, tracking performance, and proactively mitigating risks to delivery timelines
• Identifying and managing end-of-life inventory, purchase orders, and work orders to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
You'll bring strategic thinking to daily decisions, and your work will directly influence the plant's growth trajectory. This is a role where your voice matters—and where your contributions are visible to senior leadership.
---
What You Bring
You're a supply chain professional who thrives on complexity and collaboration. You understand the rhythm of a 24/7 manufacturing environment and know how to balance precision with adaptability. You're comfortable digging into data, but you also know that the best plans are built with people, not just spreadsheets.
You likely have:
• Deep experience in supply chain planning, master scheduling, or production planning within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory management principles
• A track record of partnering with Operations to solve problems and remove bottlenecks
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities without losing sight of the big picture

You'll also receive:

• Generous employee discount
