Sound like   you?   Keep reading. The Role:  Principal , Public Affairs We’re   looking for a   self starter   who is looking to take the next step in their career. Someone with a foundational background in public affairs and client management .    Someone who   wants to solve big problems and deliver smart, strategic counsel to clients who play in high-stakes arenas. As   Principal of Public Affairs ,   you will play a critical role in supporting client relationships, ensuring they get the   expertise , strategy, and execution needed to drive impactful campaigns. What  You’ll  Do: • Client Management: • • Collaborate with senior and executive leadership   to develop and execute winning campaign strategies. • • Support the teams working on New York-based clients, ensuring their priorities and goals are met   and exceeded . • • Build relationships that last. Clients should see you as a   key contributor to their overall success. • • Prioritize crisis and proactive communications, managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. • Business Growth & Thought Leadership • • Spot opportunities   by monitoring and analyzing industry trends. • • Identify   ways to   expand client engagements and   upsell contracts . • • Actively develop proposals,   presentations   and reports to   enhance efficiency and client satisfaction. Leadership & Execution • • Mentor and   develop junior   staff, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability . • • Refine and   optimize   internal workflows—because   efficiency drives impact . • • Set the bar high. Elevate the firm’s   standards for execution, innovation, and results . What  We’re  Looking For: • 3 + years  of experience in  client management, public affairs, communications, government, or a related field . • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Exceptional communication   skills • A strategic mindset and a tactical edge  -  you see the big picture and handle the details. • Knowledge of New York's political, corporate, and nonprofit landscape • You’re   not just ambitious   -   you get things done.
