🚀 Own the Automation Strategy | Principal Automation Test Specialist Are you a Playwright and C# automation expert looking for the opportunity to build something from the ground up? This is a rare chance to take ownership of a greenfield test automation function, shaping frameworks, standards and best practice across a modern Microsoft technology estate. As the Principal Automation Test Specialist, you'll lead the development and evolution of a Playwright-based automation framework, driving quality across Dynamics 365, Power Platform applications and key business-critical integrations. Working closely with developers, business analysts and senior stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding automation within CI/CD pipelines and influencing testing strategy across the organisation. What you'll be doing: • Designing, building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright and C# • Creating robust regression, smoke and end-to-end test suites • Integrating automation into Azure DevOps pipelines • Supporting quality throughout the SDLC within Agile delivery teams • Driving automation best practice, framework scalability and test reliability • Influencing testing strategy and helping shape a growing QA function Essential Skills: • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and C#/.NET • Proven ability to build and maintain automation frameworks • Experience integrating automated testing into Azure DevOps • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Strong understanding of test automation principles and Agile delivery Desirable: • Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform testing experience • Financial Services experience • Knowledge of AI-driven automation testing approaches Package: • Competitive salary + excellent benefits! • Hybrid working (3 days per week in Leeds) This is an outstanding opportunity to make a genuine impact, take ownership of a greenfield automation capability and help define QA standards for the future.
