Location: Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand
Windfield International School is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Primary Computing Teacher to join our international team. The successful candidate will inspire young learners to develop digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills through engaging and interactive lessons.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons for primary students aligned with the school curriculum.
Teach key computing concepts, including digital literacy, coding, online safety, and computational thinking.
Create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, and assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support student development.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Recognized teaching qualification or teaching license.
Previous experience teaching Computing or ICT at the primary level, preferably within an international or British curriculum.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Excellent English proficiency.
