Overview : As a preschool teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children. Your goal is to foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each a child in your care.Curriculum Planning : Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.Create age-appropriate lesson plans that encompass various learning domains, including language, math, science, social studies, and arts.Classroom Management :Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills.Individualised Instructions :Recognize and address the unique learning styles and needs of each child in the classroom.Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction when necessaryParent communication :Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences.Assessment & Evaluation :Use ongoing assessments to monitor and document the progress of each child.Prepare and maintain records of children's growth and developmentProfessional Development :Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education.Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.Healthy & safety :Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom.Follow health and safety guidelines, including administering first aid when necessary.
