About This Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at VIP Child Development Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 3-5, and a willingness to support their developmental needs.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
As a Preschool Teacher at our center, you will be responsible for creating a engaging and educational environment for children aged 3-5.
• Maintain a safe and clean learning environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children at all times.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, aligned with our creative curriculum, in collaboration with the head teacher.
• Plan and execute a range of activities to meet the developmental needs of the children, including arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Communicate effectively with the director, other staff members, parents, and families, providing regular updates on children's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest state guidelines and best practices in early childhood education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and families, building trust and confidence in the care and education provided by our center.
• Support children's physical and emotional needs, including diaper changes and potty training.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of childcare experience, specifically with children under the age of 5.
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position.
