What You’ll Do You’ll step into a role where every day brings a new challenge in metal. You’ll set up, adjust, and operate a range of advanced machinery — from CNC lasers and waterjets to press brakes, metal rollers, rotary punch presses, and coil straighteners. You’ll also work with sanders, drills, milling machines, grinders, shears, ironworkers, and saws. Your job is to turn raw material into components that match blueprints down to the thousandth of an inch. You’ll read and interpret technical drawings and work orders, then use precision measuring instruments — calipers, micrometers, rules, squares, angle gauges, height gauges — to verify every dimension. You’ll keep accurate inventory and labor data flowing through the ERP system, manage material locations, and hit deadlines without sacrificing quality. You’ll also be expected to think ahead. This team values people who spot ways to fabricate parts more efficiently and contribute to long-term process improvements. You’ll support 5S initiatives, follow safety and environmental policies, and work steadily with minimal supervision. And yes, you’ll get trained and certified to operate forklifts and overhead cranes — all in-house. What You Bring • 1–2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a job shop environment • Skilled operation of CNC laser, waterjet, press brake, and related equipment • Strong blueprint reading ability and comfort with precision measuring tools • Solid math and problem-solving skills — you can calculate, adjust, and verify • Familiarity with ERP systems and a safety-first mindset • Willingness to earn forklift and crane certifications (training provided) Compensation & Location This is a direct-hire, on-site role in Papillion, Nebraska. You’ll earn between $41,600 and $58,200 annually (based on experience), with a starting range of $20–$28 per hour.
