Description
Position: Public Relations Manager
Job Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end PR activities , acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external media inquiries.
• Draft, write, and proofread press releases, corporate announcements, media pitches, and executive talking points.
• Coordinate local and regional media outreach , proactively pitching company milestones and securing coverage across business, trade, and mainstream publications.
• Monitor daily media coverage and sentiment , providing management with timely updates on relevant industry developments and press themes.
• Handle reactive and basic crisis communications , developing rapid-response messaging to protect and manage reputational risk.
• Partner directly with founders and internal stakeholders to identify key business updates and translate them into clear, compelling public narratives.
Job Requirements
• Full-time based in Hong Kong , working under a hybrid arrangement.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently , manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
• Native English speaker with strong oral communication skills in Mandarin to effectively gather information and build relationships with internal and local stakeholders.
• A hands-on, mature, and self-motivated attitude ("roll up your sleeves"), with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills , able to manage competing deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
