It's all in the details. Let's talk. As Power Origination Manager you play a key role in developing Storm's commercial strategy in the electricity market. You convert our growing portfolio of wind, solar, and battery projects into market value, ensuring they are commercialized intelligently and with a forward-thinking approach. What are your responsibilities? • You develop and implement an integrated market strategy for our energy portfolio and translate market trends and pricing mechanisms into concrete commercial opportunities; • You structure, negotiate, and conclude PPAs and other contract forms with industrial off-takers, and build lasting relationships with clients and market players; • You optimize and manage the existing contract portfolio , including initiating renegotiations and developing solutions to manage market risks (such as balancing risk); • You support the financing and development of projects through bankable and commercial contract structures. For this, you collaborate closely with investment, finance, and development teams; • You research and develop new business models and market applications , particularly within flexibility and ancillary markets; • You connect different technologies (wind, solar, and storage) into a coherent and valuable commercial strategy; • You act as a sparring partner for management and advise on strategic choices and market positioning; • In this role, you report to the management. Is this your professional zodiac sign? • You have a master's degree (commercial engineering, engineering, economics, or similar); • You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in energy markets, origination, trading, consultancy, or a similar context; • You have a strong affinity for renewable energy and the energy transition; • You combine analytical and strategic insight with commercial flair; • You are a strong negotiator and stakeholder manager, with the maturity to independently drive projects from opportunity to contract; • You work autonomously, but are also a true team player who collaborates smoothly with finance, investment, development & management; • You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English .
