Job Description 👨‍💻 We are looking for a Power Electronics Exper t at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth. Attached to the R&D Team , you will be responsible for: 📌 Providing expertise and tech 📌 Supporting advanced research 📌 Collaborating with cross-functional teams Main responsibilities: 📌 Reviewing and approving technical documents, both generated internally and with suppliers and customers, 📌 Leading specific activities linked with research and development activities on power electronics applied to electric propulsion and at satellite-level, 📌 Help develop the technical expertise of the team through the writing of best practices and design guidelines, 📌 Be the reference to define test plans, validation strategies and technological roadmap on power electronics, 📌 Identifying innovative technologies (topologies, architectures, suppliers, …) or methodologies to be further studied, 📌 Mobilising resources for exploration of innovative technologies and methodologies, 📌 Representing Exotrail in seminars and forums, sharing their expertise and promoting the company’s vision and capabilities. Preferred Experience 💁‍♀️ Education: Masters’ or PhD in electrical engineering or related field 📌 Experience: 10 years in power electronics (100 – 1000W) for defence systems. Experience in the space sector is ideal and appreciated. 📌 Strong knowledge and experience of the design of a complete power electronics system (hardware to software), including filtering. 📌 Software/firmware for power electronics control. 📌 Expertise in simulation tools (LTspice). 📌 Strong technical leadership in multi-team technical meetings and a high level of agility. 📌 Strong verbal and written communication skills, with colleagues and external stakeholders in French and English (B2 min). 📌 Creativity vs unexpected technical issues (design, assembly, …) About our recruitment process 🤝 We are committed to recruiting the right people for the right job, regardless of your private background.
