The study will be conducted in collaboration with the University of Cambridge (UK) and will be based at the Clinic for Addictive Behaviour and Addiction Medicine at the Central Institute of Mental Health (ZI) in Mannheim. The post offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to clinically meaningful and societally relevant research while applying state-of-the-art methods in neuroscience, behavioural science, and computational analysis. Applicants should have a strong interest in clinical research and a solid background in research methods and statistics. The role requires the ability to work independently and use initiative, as well as to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary and international research team. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a reliable approach to work are essential for the successful delivery of the project. Good proficiency in German is required for interactions with patients. Funding for this position is available for an initial period of 36 months, starting in October 2026.
