Classification: Partial Differential Equations A postdoctoral position is available for the project “Hypoellipticity and global solvability in product manifolds” - FAPESP-FWO Cooperation Agreement. The research will be conducted at the Department of Mathematics of the Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação (ICMC), University of Sao Paulo - Sao Carlos, Brazil. The project investigates global properties of systems of partial differential equations of geometric importance on product manifolds. The postdoctoral research will focus on the study of global hypoellipticity and the solvability of sub-Laplacians associated with involutive systems of real vector fields defined on compact Lie groups.
